• Lay-outing strategic analysis reports and other documents making use of existing templates;
• Developing templates for strategic reports and other relevant products;
• Designing infographics and other visual elements for Europol strategic reports;
• Preparing PowerPoint presentations for internal and external use;
• Providing design advice to the analysts to translate ideas and concepts into graphic elements;
• Provide visual and web design support for the team’s Europol Platform for Experts (EPE) dedicated to intelligence analysis;
• Any other related activities under the supervision of the internship supervisor.

Subject knowledge/education:

• Completed university studies or vocational training in the field of graphic/web design, audio-visual communication, corporate communication or any other relevant field;
• Good knowledge of graphic design software, in particular Adobe CC (Illustrator, Photoshop);
• The following will be considered as an advantage:
• Knowledge of Adobe InDesign;
• Knowledge of the functioning of the EU and Europol’s role in fighting serious and organised crime and terrorism;
• Knowledge of Content Management Systems (CMS) and web related languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).

Experience (in academic or professional settings):

• Experience in visual and graphic design;
• Experience in translating complex concepts into visual elements (please provide examples in your application form );
• Experience in lay-outing reports;
• Experience in producing PowerPoint presentations;
• Experience in web design.
