The main objective of this postgraduate project is to develop novel dissolution capabilities for screening the drug product performance. The Intern will operate with advanced dissolution technologies that simulate the processes occurring in the gastrointestinal lumen with a strong focus on oral enabling formulations.

 

Major accountabilities:

  • ​Design, plan, perform, interpret and report results from biorelevant dissolution procedures using USP I/II equipment.
  • Develop HPLC methods suitable for dissolution testing with oral dosage forms.
  • Provide raw data documentation, evaluation and results interpretation of scientific experiments with high focus on quality.
  • Meet quality, quantity and timelines in all assigned projects.
  • Liaise with external partner(s) in the context of scientific collaborations.
Requisiti principali:
  • BS / MSc in analytical chemistry or equivalent, obtained in the last 2 years maximum.
  • Proven research experience with biopharmaceutical in vitro techniques (e.g., solubility, dissolution, precipitation, solid state characterization, permeability…) and/or QC dissolution testing (USP I, II and IV) is an advantage.
  • Good scientific and technical knowledge in analytical science, in particular in biorelevant dissolution testing (using compendial or non-compendial methods) as well as applying HPLC analytics.
  • Possess a good amount of innovation and creativity and be able to think and act unconventionally.
  • Good knowledge in English (oral and in writing). Knowledge in German would be a plus.
  • Ability to perform in a highly dynamic environment.
