Content creation (50%)

• Writing, editing and proofreading for various platforms and channels including social media (LinkedIn), newsletters, and reports
• Graphic design for social media tiles
• Writing longer form blogs on topics related to human rights, labor rights, and textile industry news
• Creating communications assets for the broader team

External Newsletter management (30%)

• End-to-end development of the monthly external Newsletter including gathering and drafting content, creating an email in Mailchimp, testing and proofreading.

Brand refresh (10%)

• Continuing work on our brand refresh project, including updating PowerPoint templates, Info packs, documents and Mailchimp templates
• Expanding brand image library

Event support (5%)

• Creating communications assets where needed, updating event advertisements on our website using Squarespace and Canva

Other tasks as required (5%)

• You are currently enrolled in a communications/marketing/journalism degree (or similar field)
• You have basic skills in digital communications, copywriting, and graphic design
• You have used the Microsoft Suite, Zoom, LinkedIn, and Canva before (and are capable learning new platforms such as Mailchimp, Squarespace and Slack)
• You are organised, self-motivated, and will ask questions when you don’t know the answers
• You are enthusiastic and a team player
• You are fluent in English.
