• Collaborate with staff on policy-relevant research projects 
• Support in conducting econometric analysis 
• Contribute to the development of monitoring tools 
• Assist in compiling and managing new cross-country datasets 
• Communicate findings in internal notes, presentations, and seminars.

Qualifications 

• Hold a postgraduate degree or be enrolled in a PhD program. Candidates who have completed their PhD within the last 12 months are also eligible 
• A sound understanding of macroeconomics and/or public finance 
• Knowledge of data analysis and software packages (e.g.: Stata, R, Python, or related software) would be considered an asset 
• Experience in either collaborative empirical research, economics analysis, dealing with large or unstructured data are highly desirable  
• Fluency in English, both oral and written 
• A previous traineeship experience would be an asset.
