The Intern – PhD Statistician will support the Clinical Statistics team on a project intended to bring innovation to clinical trial design or answer questions arising from clinical trial data. The successful individual will work with clinical research associates/clinical data associates, statistical analysts and project statisticians.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate primarily with the statistical team on problem solving and analytics in Clinical Trial or Real-World Evidence setting (e.g., Modelling and simulations for method selection to address a specific scientific question; Complex data visualizations; Network meta-analyses).
• Maintain proficiency with respect to statistical programming and statistical methodology and in applying new and varied methods.
• Perform work in full compliance with assigned curriculum(s) and be responsible for following applicable corporate, medical, local, and departmental policies, procedures, processes and training.

• Currently enrolled in a PhD program specializing in Statistics, Biostatistics or related field (at least close to completing the second year)
