The Advocacy and Communications Assistant will help to enhance the visibility of Alliance2015 and its members. He/she/they will support the team with: 

• communication activities, including managing social media profiles, further developing the website and Members’ area, and drafting articles for Alliance2015 newsletters, digital and print publications, and communication plans around Alliance2015 events and projects.
• Advocacy-related work, contributing to Alliance2015 positions and contribution to external consultations and events, feeding in editorial work for the quarterly Policy Monitoring, assisting meetings, attending and reporting on relevant external events as required.

• This position is not open to students currently enrolled in university. It is intended for recent graduates.
• Acquired work experience through previous internships in fast-paced environments, in communications and advocacy.
• University degree in a relevant field (Bachelor or Master’s level, in politics, communications, international relations).
• Proven experience in navigating EU institutions and processes.
• Ability to analyse and synthesise policy issues.
• Ability to prioritise and organise work in cooperation with the line managers.
• Proficiency in English with excellent writing skills.
• Fluency in MS Office and Google applications.
• Very good IT skills (including database management, Content Management Systems).
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Good listening attitude with team-working skills.
• Very well organised and result-oriented.

Desirable:

• Spanish / French speaking and writing skills would be a plus.
• Knowledge of Mailchimp, Canva (or other visual editing software) would be an advantage.
