Attività:
- Conduct background research on a wide variety of matters to support the work of the Director of the Division of External Operations;
- Conduct legal analysis on issues related to judicial cooperation, cooperation with the States and IGOs and operations;
- Draft minutes of both internal and external meetings;
- Draft letters, speaking points, speeches and other documents for the Director and other Registry officials;
- Assist in drafting legal and policy memoranda, reports and analyses on assigned topics;
- Assist in updating and producing content for the DEO intranet site;
- Perform any other duties as required.
Requisiti principali:
- - All Candidates must have a degree or be in the final stages of a relevant study at a recognized university in political science, law, management, journalism/public information, or a related field. Candidates are expected to have a very good record of academic performance.
- Internship placements focus on candidates in the early stages of their professional careers; practical experience is therefore not an essential prerequisite for selection. However, practical experience that is relevant to the work of the Court, especially from an international environment, will be considered an asset, but should not exceed three years.
- Able to adapt to multicultural and multilingual working environments.
- Possesses strong teamwork skills (listens, consults and communicates proactively).
- Has acquired a good standard of computer skills (including Microsoft Office applications).
- Proficiency in one of the working languages of the Court, French or English, is required. Working knowledge of the other is considered an asset. Knowledge of another official language of the Court (Arabic, Chinese, Russian and Spanish) is an asset.
