In Roche’s Pharmaceutical Research and Early Development organization (pRED), we make transformative medicines for patients in order to tackle some of the world’s toughest unmet healthcare needs. The pRED Data & Analytics team is the bridge between digital technology and science, and brings together all competencies required to design, build, operate and evolve our digital landscape and the pRED-wide data backbone. We enhance the full scientific data pipeline from structured data capture to powerful data integration and efficient data interrogation in order to create and develop successful drug molecules as efficiently as possible.
Internship Mission
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a talented data scientist or bioinformatics intern in a collaborative environment, where data and biomarker scientists are working closely together, to establish AI models on in-house and real-world data sets. In this project, to better understand response to tumor therapy, we are focusing on developing AI models for use with data from clinical studies. The goal of this research is to reveal novel molecular mechanisms underlying the body’s response to therapy in order to improve treatment strategies and accelerate our personalized healthcare solutions.
