Attività: - Physically integrate a six-axis robotic arm in the probe calibration wind tunnel.
- Design probe holders to interface between the robotic arm and aerodynamic probe.
- Create software to control robot arm and execute volumetric traverse in the jet of the CalJet facility.
- Develop methodology for positioning of probe.
- Document test instrumentation and hardware inspections.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on findings and progress.
Requisiti principali: - Students in disciplines such as Aerospace, Mechanical or Robotics Engineering (Bachelor 3rd year or Master preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with engineering tools such as CAD (e.g. Siemens NX, Solid Works), Matlab (critical), and/or Python.
- Experience with robotics.
- Ability to summarize complex technical information clearly and concisely.
- Effective independent and team working skills.
- Proactive mindset with a drive to tackle challenges and achieve results.
- Passionate about technology development and engineering.
