- Work with other (Marine) engineers and meet with multi-disciplinary operational engineers to understand the challenge.
- Conduct literature research on the topic of interest and familiarize with dedicated simulation software.
- Formulate the problem in a simulation / mathematical model.
- Report your final findings, demonstrating your modelling / design choices and reproducibility of results.
- There is no clearly defined topic, but feel free to apply for a graduation thesis at our department, and discuss with us what your interest are, what drives you and where those interests can be a benefit for Boskalis. In joint cooperation we will work out a tailor-made assignment.
Requisiti principali:
- - You are doing a Highschool Bachelor or University master’s study in Marine Engineering, Shipbuilding, Naval Architecture, or other related field
- Affinity with Python and simulation software
- Theoretical understanding of Vessel Morions / Mooring Systems and offshore operations
- Eager to learn
- Analytical thinking
- Problem Solving.
