Toyota  Technical  Center  (R&D)  in  Europe is  responsible  for the planning, design  &  styling, development and production of attractive, superior quality cars matching European market requirements. Within our R&D-organisation, Styling Design division plays a key role in the early design and styling development of our future models.

The Digital Modelling Team supports the designers in creating our new production cars. It requires technical modelling and visualization skills but also a good understanding of form and 3D volumes. Your communication with the designers and clay modellers is also essential.

Your project

• Reinforcing CAD modelling team in running projects.
• Creating 3D parts that will be used to mill onto our hard models and will be used for virtual presentations.
• Use your creativity to experiment with innovative 3D modelling and visualisation techniques.
• Work on your own personal assignment.

• You are fluent in English (TME’s business language)
• CAD knowledge:
• Autodesk Alias / ICEMsurf or Blender proficiency. Able to work independently.
• knowledge of engineering packages is a plus (CATIA V5).
• Visualization:
• Autodesk VRED and/or Blender.
• Interactivity, animation:
• Knowledge of animation features in Autodesk VRED.
• Knowledge of Unreal is a plus.
• Background interests:
• Engineering: technical knowledge about product development, modelmaking or car design is a plus but not a necessity.

It is mandatory that applicants are students for the entire period of the internship.
