Attività:
  • Assist in close collaboration with ITC’s national partners, the completion of a national Survey on legal services and small firms needs’, contacting national businesses and institutions;
  • Undertake research and analysis of strategic legal and regulatory reforms and national, regional and international levels to enhance the efficiency and costs of doing business in target countries;
  • Gather updated information on the legal work carried out by other international organizations with the purpose of exploring collaboration and synergies;
  • Collaborate in projects aiming and modernizing business ecosystems and improving regulatory frameworks to enhance the efficiency and costs of doing business in target countries;
  • Assist in research for the development of project proposals for submission to donors;
  • Assist in the preparation of briefing notes, presentations to raise awareness among entrepreneurs, business associations, trade support institutions (TSIs) and policy makers on the importance and benefits of Intellectual Property (IP), geographical indications and trademarks in business, trade and export development;
  • Develop digital social media experience and website content and materials preparation in different languages; and

Requisiti principali:
  • Applicants to the programme shall, at the time of application, meet one of the following requirements:
    • a) Be enrolled in a graduate or master school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher); or
    • b) Be enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor’s level or equivalent);
    • c) Have graduated with a university degree (as defined above) and, if selected, must commence the internship within one year of graduation.
  • Relevant field of studies e.g. law, business law, international private and public law, trade law and development, and related.
  • Computer literacy: MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Additional skills:
    • Understanding of trade and development issues;
    • Understanding of results-based management, project monitoring and evaluation;
    • Excellent drafting skills;
    • Exposure or familiarity with the work of international organisations would be an asset;
    • Team spirit and ability to work in a multicultural environment.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English or French. Working knowledge of other UN language is an asset.
