Attività:
Corporate and Foundation Fundraising Marketing Strategy:
- Assist to develop fundraising-specific content for key campaigns targeting private sector, philanthropic foundations and individuals and develop tailored fundraising plans.
- Inputs to and update of outreach/publicity material geared towards business partners and donors.
Fundraising Activities:
- Support the development of key private sector donor leads and support the broader implementation of OCHA’s Partnership and Resource Mobilization Strategy, as set out in the PSU work plan.
- Assist in managing key donor accounts, ensuring regular communication, reporting, and visibility as appropriate, in coordination with relevant teams in OCHA such as the Digital Visibility Unit.
- Assist in the development of tailored project proposals for private foundations and companies
- Assist in the organization of high-profile events to expand fundraising and engagement opportunities.
- Assist in institutional procedures pertaining to private partnerships, including ensuring adherence to due diligence procedures;
- Assist in preparing briefings and background documents ahead of meetings with corporations, foundations and high-net worth individuals.
Requisiti principali: - To qualify for an internship with the United Nations Internship Programme, the following conditions must be met:
- (a) be enrolled in, or have completed, a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher)
- (b) be enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Good knowledge of standard MS software applications is required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills is required
- Fluency in English and French languages (both oral and written) is required. Knowledge of any of the official languages of the United Nations is desirable.
