Attività: - Build expertise in the area of joint investigation teams, by getting acquainted with the tools and projects developed by the JITs Network Secretariat and by contributing to ongoing projects;
- Contribute to the preparations of the JITs Annual Meeting/Working Group meetings by analysing relevant material on JITs, drafting discussion papers and outcome reports, as well as assisting with the organisational aspects of the meetings;
- Contribute to drafting of legal opinions/legal advice by analysing legal documents and other available materials related to JITs and judicial cooperation;
- Assist with the JITs Evaluation Project, by collecting and analysing existing material in particular JIT evaluation forms;
- Maintain and manage the JITs agreements database, by uploading JIT agreements and producing structured information extracted from the database;

- Contribute to the Project on Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) on JITs, by analysing received replies and drafting the report;
- Assist with the preparation of training materials (PowerPoint presentations) to be used at JIT training events, roadshows and seminars;
- Assist with the taks related to development and operation of the JITs Collaboration Pltaform;
- Support any other assignments falling into the Secretariats’ respective organisational matters.
Requisiti principali:
The traineeship call is open to applicants who satisfy the following eligibility criteria on the closing date for application:
- Be a national of one of the Member States of the European Union or of EU candidate countries. Exceptionally, nationals of third countries with a cooperation agreement or working arrangement with Eurojust may also be accepted, depending on budget availability;
- Be a recent university/masters/doctorate graduate, who, by the closing date for applications, has obtained a university/ masters/doctorate diploma;
- Have a very good knowledge of English (minimum B2 level),the working language of Eurojust;
- Not have received more than six weeks of any kind of in-service training/internship nor have worked or been employed in any capacity within a European Institution,body, office or agency.
General knowledge, qualifications and experience
- Completed university degree in law (specialisation or experience in European law, international criminal law, international humanitarian law and/or human rights law, criminology, criminal justice, political science is an asset) or other relevant fields;
- Good communication and interpersonal skills;
- Aptitude for team work in an international, multicultural environment, as well as cooperative and customer-oriented attitude;
- Ability to take responsibility for specific areas of work and see actions through to completion, ensuring that the deadlines are met;
- Very good sense of accountability, with a high level of accuracy and attention to details;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (including Excel);
- Very good knowledge of English, both written and spoken, the working language of Eurojust.
