The trainee will support the delivery of policy and political intelligence produced by the Research & Analysis Division. You will learn from experienced analysts and contribute to our work across a range of policy areas.

  • Monitoring key EU policy debates and legislative developments across a range of sectors.
  • Drafting concise summaries and background notes on policy issues, legislative files, and political developments.
  • Assisting in research on political, regulatory, and policy-related topics.
  • Supporting the production of analysis for internal and external audiences.
  • Participating in team meetings and brainstorming sessions for research planning and report development.
  • Contributing to the coordination and delivery of client-focused projects.
Requisiti principali:
  • Be passionate about EU politics and policy, with a desire to develop expertise in the EU legislative process.
  • Demonstrate a strong interest and knowledge in at least one of the following areas: sustainability, energy, competition, industry, digital/tech, trade, defense, financial services, healthcare, or chemicals.
  • Show curiosity, critical thinking, and willingness to take initiative.
  • Be eager to learn in a fast-moving, politically driven environment.
  • Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. political science, law, economics, international relations, public affairs). 
  • Demonstrated interest in EU policy and politics through academic work, internships, student associations, writing, or related experience.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
  • Other EU languages are an asset.
