You will support licensing and government relations activities that facilitate the deployment of SES’s satellite connectivity solutions in the EMEA region.  You will interact with national decision-makers and regulators, track satellite regulatory conditions applicable in countries of the region and help to obtain the authorizations to provide service. 

 

Your responsiblities include, but are not limited to:

  • Working together with the EMEA Legal & Regulatory team to analyze and report on market access (space segment) requirements as well as licensing procedures and conditions applicable to SES satellite services
  • Interacting with SES Sales and Engineering teams to respond to their needs to serve targeted priority countries of the region
  • Obtain licenses and access rights to operate in the targeted priority countries
  • Monitor and assess EU-level directives and regulations for application to SES business.
Requisiti principali:

 

You must

  • Currently be a student in Space Law with background on ITU Radio Regulations and familiarity with latest telecommunications industry developments (5G, Cloud)
  • Strong interest in global technology, media, and telecom business and satellite communications in particular
  • Strong computer literacy (MS PowerPoint, Excel, Teams)
  • Fluency in spoken and written English with additional languages considered an asset (notably French and Arabic)
  • EU-citizens or work permit for Netherlands or Luxembourg.

It would be nice if you had 

  • Knowledge of radio spectrum policies and challenges considered a big plus
  • Other language skills considered an asset.
