You will contribute, in the framework of the Group’s Enterprise Risk Management activities, to the development of advanced mathematical models allowing to objectively assess risks and risk mitigation actions effectiveness in all areas of the business. You will also contribute to the development of decision analysis methods allowing to balance risk and opportunities associated to major strategic decisions affecting the business.

 

Your responsibilities

  • Develop objective criteria and methods allowing to assess risk likelihood across all risk categories
  • Develop methods and models allowing to accurately assess the impact of various risks on the Group’s budget and business plan targets
  • Develop methods to assess the effectiveness of risk mitigation measures and to optimize / prioritize the allocation of risk mitigation resources
  • Develop decision analysis methods allowing to balance risk and opportunities associated to major strategic decisions affecting the business, like investment decisions
  • Support the Risk Management Group with the collection and assessment of risks across the company and with the reporting of those risks to the Senior Leadership Team
Requisiti principali:
  • Being an advanced Master’s student in applied mathematics, statistics, actuarial science or in a relevant technical area;
  • Strong interest in the media/telecommunication business and technical interest in satellites
  • Excellent analytical and judgment skills, experience with stochastic modelling and decision theory
  • Ability to set priorities and to work under tight deadlines;
  • Computer literate (MS PowerPoint, Excel, Access);
  • Experience with @risk or similar software is considered an asset
  • Work independently as well as in a team;
  • Easiness to communicate at all levels;
  • Fluency in spoken and written English with additional languages considered an asset.
  • EU nationality or work permit for Luxembourg.
