The International Criminal Court has a project to migrate the current content repository (using SharePoint on premise) to the latest version.  This would enable the Court to move to a more user-friendly platform and improve the experience of using the system for staff.
The objective of this project is the successful migration of all relevant content from the current SharePoint environment to the latest version, including complete migration of workflows, relevant web parts and existing access rights and security settings. 
The project is ongoing, and we are currently looking for an individual who can work in the Information Management Unit (IMU).  IMU is a unit within the Information Management Services Section (IMSS) within the Registry and defines frameworks and standards to effectively manage data.  The successful candidate will be directly reporting to the Project Manager and will be supporting in the execution of the project activities. 

 Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support in updating project documents such as project plan, issues list, risk register, etc.;
  • Coordinate with relevant stakeholders where actions are required and help ensure that tasks are completed on time;
  • Test the new system and give feedback on the test results;
  • Organise and participate in project meetings;
  • Draft meeting minutes and project communications;
  • Support change management initiatives such as coordination of training to end users and preparation of user guides;
  • Any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requisiti principali:

All Candidates must have a degree or be in the final stages of their studies at a recognised university. Candidates are expected to have a very good record of academic performance.  
Internship placements focus on candidates in the early stages of their professional careers therefore; practical experience is not an essential prerequisite for selection. However, practical experience on project management will be considered an asset. 

 Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

  • Strong organisational and planning skills.
  • Demonstrable coordination and communication skills.
  • Able to adapt to multicultural and multilingual working environments. 
  • Possesses strong teamwork skills (listens, consults and communicates proactively). 
  • Has acquired a good standard of computer skills (including Microsoft Office applications). 

 Knowledge of Languages: 

Proficiency in one of the working languages of the Court, French or English, is required. Working knowledge of the other is desirable. Knowledge of another official language of the Court (Arabic, Chinese, Russian and Spanish) is an asset.
