Partnership (public-private, public-private-private) are becoming a key element of advancing access to Roche innovations as the complexity of Roche scientific innovations grow and health systems are looking for ways to successfully integrate scientific innovations for maximum impact for patients. Global Access work on a range of countries - both developed and developing and the needs for partnerships may vary but the basis principle - the need to forge partnerships with governmental, non-governmental organizations and the private sector remains. As a part of our commitment to supporting affiliate scope, design and implement high impact partnerships for access, in 2019 we completed the design of a digital Partnerships for Access Knowledge Hub. This Knowledge Hub is a digital one stop shop which includes all relevant materials needed for affiliates to carry out such partnerships. It also includes internal and external partnerships for access case studies that affiliates can utilize to design their own partnerships.
This knowledge hub is designed and managed by the Health systems capacity team working with a Community of Practice consisting of affiliates and global access experts in funding and financing, policy and health systems capacity. We aim to include data on partnerships along the Access Amplifier themes of affordability, capacity, outcomes certainty and value recognition. We are looking for an intern who is passionate about partnerships for access to innovation to improve the health of patients and populations worldwide.
One key element of the internship is writing case studies on Roche partnerships for access and fully operationalizing the monitoring and evaluation elements of the partnerships for access digital site.
