Attività:
  • Supporting the collection, curation, and dissemination of knowledge products, including case studies, impact stories, lessons learned, and reports.
  • Assisting in the development and management of GGKP knowledge partnerships, initiatives, tools, and solutions.
  • Contributing to the planning and implementation of GGKP virtual and onsite events, including a major virtual event on green growth and innovation.
  • Helping to improve and maintain the GGKP photo repository.
  • Providing input on and assisting with the design of outreach materials such as social media cards, infographics, flyers, and videos.
  • Providing assistance in updating the GGKP homepage to reflect updates on initiatives and developments.
  • Supporting content development and community engagement on GGKP’s online platform, the Green Forum, by drafting and curating posts, moderating discussion groups, and updating thematic pages.
  • Assisting in researching and gathering content for GGKP’s monthly Knowledge Update. •Assisting with other communications and outreach tasks as reasonably assigned by the supervisor.
Requisiti principali:
  • Students enrolled in a Master’s or PhD programme in international development or environmental studies, communications, marketing, design or related field preferred with a significant teamwork component.
  • Recent graduates within one year of graduation and undergraduates in their final year are also eligible.
  • Previous experience in communications, marketing or creativity work in a professional, English-speaking context is desirable.
  • Proven computer literacy in standard office software applications skills, as well as willingness to learn new tools is required.
  • Working proficiency in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite apps and website content environments (Wordpress, Drupal), is an asset.
  • Good knowledge of standard software applications, specifically MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Skills in developing communication materials (e.g., social media cards) and/or in organizing webinars are an asset.
  • Interest in the work the UN and willingness to work in a multicultural environment.
