The Intern HR corporate functions role will support the Head of HR Corporate Functions and the respective team in all global HR Partnering related processes, tasks and projects. Corporate Function covers globally HR for HR, Global Marketing, Legal, Strategic Enterprise Accounts and Licensing. With one Lonza goal to drive successfully our global People Strategy.

 

What you will do:

  • Support a range of HR initiatives across Global Corporate Functions, including talent, people strategy, organizational development, and continuous improvement activities; contribute ideas to enhance efficiency and the employee experience on a global scale.
  • Provide administrative and coordination support for key 2026 HR programs and projects within Corporate Functions, ensuring smooth execution and alignment with strategic timelines.
  • Review, update, and maintain HR documentation, guidelines, templates, and process materials relevant to Corporate Functions.
  • Contribute to the preparation of presentations and communication materials for the Corporate Functions HR team, leadership meetings, and global forums.
  • Support the administration and accuracy of key HR data within Workday and other HR systems, ensuring data integrity and timely updates.
  • Perform regular audits and checks of key HR metrics and data along the employee lifecycle (e.g., onboarding, performance, training, and other “Moments that Matter”).
  • Provide general and ad‑hoc administrative support to the Global HR Corporate Functions team and the Head of HR Corporate Functions as needed.
Requisiti principali:
  • Studies in Business Administration, Economics, Human Resources, Social Sciences, or a related field; exposure to Data Science is a advantage.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Workday or data warehouse tools is preferred.
  • High affinity for new technologies, continuous learning, and actively contributing to team initiatives.
  • Demonstrated intrinsic motivation, a proactive mindset, and the ability to drive tasks forward independently.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and eagerness to build connections and collaborate effectively within a global matrix organization.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Excellent written and spoken English; additional languages are an advantage.
