Attività:
- Tracking, researching and analyzing information on assigned topics, gathering information from diverse sources and helping assess news value and other potential impact;
- Drafting web stories and social media posts;
- Assisting with the implementation of the Section’s communication campaigns;
- Maintaining and updating the Section’s website;
- Developing graphics for social media and the website;
- Creating monthly social media reports;
- Maintain a well-organized and up-to-date archive of communication materials for internal use and institutional memory.
- Assist in the planning and coordination of events and meetings, including logistical support and preparation of background documents, presentations, speeches, and talking points.
- Document events and compile comprehensive post-event summaries and reports.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requisiti principali:
- - Applicants must meet one of the following requirements and attach the proof in the Inspira application:
- (a) be enrolled in, or have recently completed, a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher);
- (b) be enrolled in, or have recently completed, the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent).
- Applicants to the UN Internship Programme are not required to have professional work experience. However, a field of study that is closely related to the type of internship that you are applying for is required.
- Applicants must have good knowledge of standard software applications, especially MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel and MS Teams. Knowledge of Canva, Adobe or other design tools is an asset. Please describe your competency using these software applications.
- English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. Fluency in spoken and written English is required for the internship. Knowledge of an additional official UN language is an advantage. Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian and Spanish are the official languages of the United Nations Secretariat.
