As a GIS/Imagery Analyst Trainee, you will play a crucial role in supporting our team with the development and maintenance of geospatial data and imagery products. Your work will contribute to the creation of highquality cartographic and analytical outputs, supporting a range of projects and operations within the
organisation. This will enable you to develop your professional skills in a real-world setting by performing a set of daily activities that may include some or all the following, depending on your profile:

  • Production Support: assisting your team in the production of cartographic, GIS or IMINT products, especially during periods of high workload, ensuring a timely and accurate delivery.
  • Database Management: generating, updating and maintaining comprehensive geospatial databases, and producing documentation to support data integrity and accessibility.
  • Feature Extraction: digitising and extracting features from satellite images to update geospatial datasets.
  • Geospatial Analysis: performing advanced geospatial analyses, including raster and vector data manipulation and processing, to support the creation of SatCen products using diverse data sources.
  • Automation Implementation: contributing to the development and implementation of automation rules within the ESRI environment, enhancing efficiency and workflow automation.
  • Web Mapping Services: assisting in the creation and deployment of ESRI portal-based webmapping services and applications, expanding the accessibility and usability of geospatial information.
  • Project Assistance: collaborating with Team Leaders and Imagery Analysts in executing various projects and division activities, providing essential support and insights.
