As a trainee, you will have the opportunity to shadow and support senior GIS and IT engineering experts, developing your professional skills through a set of daily activities that may include some or all of the following, depending on your profile:
- Support daily GIS operations, including data processing, map production, and system updates;
- Contribute to data integration workflows between GIS systems, databases, and web applications;
- Contribute to data visualization, map design development, dashboard development and editing operational layout designs, using GIS tools (ArcGIS Pro and QGIS);
- Develop and maintain Python-based scripts or workflows for spatial data analysis, automation, and visualization; as well as with other programming languages;
- Assist in building and validating AI/ML models for geospatial prediction, classification, and pattern detection;
- Participate in collaborative research, contribute to documentation, and assist in technical reporting and presentations.
