• Researching on and drafting policy papers and briefings;
  • Liaising with colleagues in the Global and Regional offices to collect project success stories from Wetlands International work in the field;
  • Following the policy developments and the legislative work of the EU institutions (Parliament, Commission, Council);
  • Attending meetings with relevant stakeholder groups and platforms;
  • Support the team in planning meetings with EU delegations and relevant offices in Brussels (EC and Permanent Representations) to ensure that key EU development programmes address wetland degradation as a root cause of poverty, forced migration and conflict;
  • Contribute to the development of training modules and advocacy assets;
  • Assisting with the organisation of events;
  • Developing communications plans with the project team;
  • Developing informational and promotional written, visual and digital communications materials.
