You will join the Net Zero Transition team and report to the Head of Net Zero Research and Programs. This team is dedicated to advocating for all climate change-related solutions in aviation, ensuring airlines have access to the right options to support their transition plans. In your role, you will research net-zero technology solutions, with an emphasis on aircraft technologies, especially new frontiers such as hydrogen and electric aircraft, and on energy sources essential to aviation’s net-zero transition. Additionally, you will collaborate with divisional team members to augment research and databases around these solutions.
What your day would be like
- Research, support the collection of data regarding the development of airframe and engine technology, new aircraft technology solutions (like hydrogen and battery-power) with respect to net zero 2050.
- Support the development of an assessment of other net-zero solutions like SAF, CDR, and associated financing solutions.
- Perform the technical research, industry trends analysis, and stakeholder outreach.
Support development of presentations and guidance materials for internal and external stakeholders. - Support the development of team materials (internal and external) and internal and external capacity-building workshops.
