- Understanding and being able to apply the principles of taking design and planning via construction into the build status such as contractual requirements for the liability and deliverables of lead consultants
- Providing analysis of existing requirements and pricing to ensure the most cost-effective options
- Learning the interdisciplinary design coordination in accordance to a defined scope of work with all consultants
- Being included in the project cost budgets, working on cost estimates and being involved in value engineering to develop a solid understanding of cost drivers
