The following list should be used as a reference. In no way will the intern be asked to fulfil all the tasks below simultaneously. There will also be a certain flexibility according to the interests and learning objectives of the successful candidate:

• Monitor EU policy development in connection to public health and identify relevant files for the work of FEANTSA.
• Carry out research, good practice collection and mapping exercises on inadequate housing, health situation of people experiencing homelessness.
• Prepare and contribute to policy papers, research reports, newsletters, etc.
• Identify opportunities and regularly engage with EU institutions to promote the inclusion of homelessness in relevant public health policies.
• Contribute to the preparation, organisation, and follow-up of events within the organisation.
• Prepare technical reports, administrative deliverables.
• Represent FEANTSA at events and in different consortiums.
• Support the communication team and the core team of FEANTSA in disseminating activities.

• Performing power grid calculations (with DIgSILENT PowerFactory, FGH Integral, PSS/E, PSCAD)
• Performing grid & energy market modelling
• Performing data analysis (with Excel VBA, R, MATLAB, Python or similar languages)
• Supporting in preparation of consultancy presentations
• Supporting in business development activities such as tender preparation

• Perform comprehensive company and industry research
• Sector watch and screening in order to identify acquisition targets in line with Group strategy
• Preparation of memos / presentations for the top management and the board / strategic committees
• Perform and maintain financial models
• Participate in due diligence organization / management and post-closing processes

The Data Science team within “Commercial Products & Services” department (CP&S) is responsible for the implementation and continuous evolution of the Total Market Estimates product which is part of Direct Data Solutions (DDS). You will be joining a dynamic team of professionals dedicated to making a difference through the continuous delivery of complex data driven solutions. 

In your role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of the data used as input for the Total Market Estimates (TME) product and assisting with the enhancement of TME process and testing the output results. Among other tasks, you will:  

• Prepare and clean the data according to the agreed specifications and standards, and ensure that all data is complete, consistent, and valid. 
• Perform quality checks and validations of Total Market Estimates results and verify that all data is correctly processed. 
• Collaborate with experienced business analysts to identify specific business behavior per regions, country, airline. 
• Gain hands-on experience with innovative tools and technologies to build Machine Learning models to forecast passenger traffic. 
• Contribute to the team’s efforts in making new data solutions.
