As a PHY Cellular Firmware Engineering Intern, you will join a team responsible for the development of PHY firmware features in 4G-LTE and 5G-NR. In this role, you will (1) define features and requirements, (2) explore and propose concepts and algorithms, (3) develop and simulate models to validate robust functionality and performance, and/or (4) contribute to power- and area-efficient implementation.

• You support the development and enhancement of LLM-based applications for software engineering workflows.
• Furthermore, you support building Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines by embedding codebases and retrieving relevant code context via semantic search.
• In addition, you help integrate enterprise tools such as Jira and CodeBeamer with AI-based workflows.
• Moreover, you support designing and evaluating prompt engineering approaches for generating artifacts such as requirements, implementation recommendations, and technical building blocks.
• Furthermore, you help investigate and compare state-of-the-art LLMs for industrial software development applications.

Business Analysis

• Build, update, and optimize performance dashboards (sales, profitability, A&P, portfolio mix).
• Conduct ad hoc analyses to support decisions related to pricing, innovation, allocation, and market activation.
• Assist on European subsidies process (with our team and the markets).
• Identify and explain variances between forecasts, targets, and actuals, and contribute insights and recommendations.
• Assist in preparing monthly business reviews and presentations for top management.

Strategic Forecasting

• Contribute to the annual and quarterly forecasting processes (volume, value, mix, market performance).
• Support the development of strategic scenarios.
• Analyze consumption trends, category dynamics, market evolution, and competitive signals to consolidate forecast assumptions.
• Maintain, improve, and document internal forecasting tools (Excel, Power BI).
