• Support the establishment of research standards i.e. support the development of IMPACT’S Research Toolkit, which establishes key requirements and tools for each stage of the research cycle.
• Support the implementation of research standards i.e. implement quality control processes and provide technical backstopping before and during research implementation, to ensure all teams are complying with established standards, as defined within IMPACT’s Research Toolkit.
• Strengthen research standards: i.e. help establish and implement internal learning processes to continuously review and strengthen IMPACT’s research methods, tools, and outcomes.

• Support ITB Head and Sales team in overall business development: from identifying opportunities, modeling risk/return ratios, making client analysis, preparing pitchbooks to implementation, monitoring and follow up on the existing portfolio of transactions;
• Draft call reports, client memos, and internal briefing notes that describe commercial insights and translate them into concrete action plans;
• Attend client and internal meetings to develop understanding of the business;
• Constant dialogue and collaboration with Coverage, Credit Risk, Compliance and other departments;
• Active research on potential new clients and identification of business opportunities;
• Contribute to the cross sell initiatives across business lines, products and international network of the bank;
• Support to organize local clients' events if and when applicable;
• Prepare files for business committees in close co-operation with Coverage;
• Managing the pipeline and CRM system;
• Contribute to local, regional and/or global ad-hoc projects;
• Stay up-to-date with the bank's policies and standards;
• Ensure that the bank's and business line's rules and procedures are respected in terms of conformity with compliance and financial security;
• Continuously strive towards more efficient and robust processes in joint cooperation with Local ITB Head;
• Participate actively to Belgium branch further development.

• Supporting the development and documentation of business procedures that define monitoring and support tasks.
• Assisting in sample monitoring of retention rules to ensure compliance with GDPR principles.
• Providing clarity on the retention and deletion process and helping system owners understand their roles and responsibilities.
• Monitoring the support email to assist stakeholders with inquiries and ensure they receive accurate information.
• Collaborating with identified stakeholders, including Legal and Compliance teams, to gather feedback and suggest amendments to processes and governance.
• Reporting on the status of monitoring and support activities to relevant forums, ensuring transparency and compliance.
• Creating templates and formalising workflows to facilitate the implementation of operational tasks.
• Engaging in continuous improvement efforts to enhance monitoring processes based on insights and feedback.

Interns will have the opportunity to work closely with the IIMM's Open Source Project Team. The duties of interns may include, but are not limited to, conducting open source research and preparing analyses on various issues relating to the situation in Myanmar; contributing to the preparation of analytical reports and other work products; assisting in the discovery, capture, compilation and review of open source information, documentation and evidence. Interns may be engaging with and be exposed to materials with violent imagery and distressing subject matters.
