- As an intern, you will contribute to the cleaning validation strategy definition, execution and reporting for GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) manufacturing equipment. The success of this study will ensure the absence of contamination of the New Biological Entities produced for clinical trials.
- Define the strategy: you will begin by confirming the cleaning validation strategy in accordance with internal and external standards/guidelines as well as quality phase appropriateness. This involves understanding the requirements of such study and apply it to BDC (Biotech Development Center) GMP manufacturing suites.
- Design protocols study: your task will include designing protocols that meet regulatory and operational requirements.
- Execute validation study: participate in executing parts of the cleaning validation study, ensuring compliance with GMP.
- Data Analysis and report writing: analyse the data collected during the study and derive conclusions that will contribute to the final report.
- Collaborate in writing the report summarizing the methodology, results, and recommendations.
- Assist in the processing of financial documents, including customer invoices and inbound payments in SAP.
- Support the Accounts Receivable team in managing the first line of collections (reminders, statements).
- Assist with queries regarding invoices and payments from customers and partners.
- Collaborate in the reconciliation and accruals processes.
- Help with month-end closing activities according to the communicated schedule.
- Learn and support systems integrations and financial processes across the department.
- Support the planning and execution of communication campaigns related to policy outreach and sector promotion.
- Assist in drafting, editing and formatting communication materials, including website content, blog posts, social media posts, newsletters and press releases.
- Help produce digital content such as short videos, visuals and graphics for online channels.
- Support the management and development of the association’s social media channels and website.
- Support the organisation of events (planning, logistics, materials preparation, coordination with vendors and partners).
- Provide administrative and office support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Researching on and drafting policy papers and briefings;
- Liaising with colleagues in the Global and Regional offices to collect project success stories from Wetlands International work in the field;
- Following the policy developments and the legislative work of the EU institutions (Parliament, Commission, Council);
- Attending meetings with relevant stakeholder groups and platforms;
- Support the team in planning meetings with EU delegations and relevant offices in Brussels (EC and Permanent Representations) to ensure that key EU development programmes address wetland degradation as a root cause of poverty, forced migration and conflict;
- Contribute to the development of training modules and advocacy assets;
- Assisting with the organisation of events;
- Developing communications plans with the project team;
- Developing informational and promotional written, visual and digital communications materials.
This role would suit a person with strong pitching skills, who is interested in developing their grant application skillset and is highly motivated by our mission. The Grants Officer will be part of the Operations & Projects department of Finance Watch, comprising Finance, HR & Operations.
The Grants Officer will report to the Head of Communications & Operations and work closely with the whole team on a daily basis.
The ideal candidate would have native proficiency in English, grant management relevant studies, and have an outstanding capacity to report on our activities to funders. A willingness to learn about financial regulation is indispensable, and French or German language skills would be a plus.
The core focus of the internship is to ensure an optimal experience for all existing funders. The Grants Administration Intern is the contact point for funding contracts. They will coordinate input from the team in funding applications and reporting.
