SES, Intern Spectrum Management and Strategy

You will contribute to integrate spectrum coordination and administrative data into new database tools called MCR & RLD:

• MCR (Master Coordination Requirement) tool will permit to have a quick assess of the regulatory status of frequency rights at each orbital slots with associated coordination constraints
• RLD (Regulatory Letter Database) tool will ease & improve the treatment of regulatory letters received from all administrations all over the world and from the International Telecommunication Union (ITU).

• Bachelor or advanced agreement in engineering (preferably electrical, telecommunications or aerospace)
• Experience with databases (Access)
• Fluency in spoken and written English
• Excellent analytical and judgment skills
• Easiness to communicate at all levels
• Necessary skills to work independently, while not hesitating to seek advice when in doubt
• Attention for detail in reviewing technical documents and agreement, and ability understand the contents
• Curiosity to understand fundamentals of technical elements in frequency coordination agreements and related regulations
• Willingness to review elements of the ITU Radio Regulations relevant for the job.
