Texas Instruments, Intern in Finance, Controlling, Tax or Accounting

You will join one of the following teams:

• Accounting – You will support the EMEA Finance & Accounting team in producing accurate financial metrics and maintaining internal controls across the organization. You will participate in reviewing and improving financial processes and assist in preparing balance sheets for quarterly and annual closings (under HGB and US GAAP).
• Business Finance & Controlling – You will prepare profit and loss forecasts, develop cost analyses and financial reports to drive our company’s financial success. You will also be involved in month-end closing activities and several compliance-related tasks.
• Tax – You will support the preparation of VAT returns, work on dashboards to analyze trends and identify potential issues, and act as a contact for various functions within TI’s supply chain. In addition, there are regular opportunities to participate in projects.
• Receivables & Credits – You will handle activities related to receivables and cash management for the EMEA accounts receivable department.  As part of the dunning process, you will work with customers to ensure timely payments. You will perform financial checks, assess creditworthiness, and set appropriate credit limits to minimize credit risk and protect TI’s receivables.

• Ongoing student of Business Administration, Finance and Accounting, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
• Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a structured and independent manner
• Team spirit and analytical thinking
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel; SAP R/3 knowledge is an advantage.
