European Association for Viewers Interests, Communication & Design Assistant

Coordinating EAVI’s content development and dissemination activities in its yearly programme and EU projects (CERV, Erasmus+, Horizon Europe, and EuropeAid), along with its online presence, websites, social media accounts, publications and newsletters by creating, editing, and publishing engaging audio-visual and textual content on EAVI’s platforms. It includes short videos, social media campaigns, podcast series, banners, infographics, and blog posts on a number of EAVI topics (disinformation, media literacy, AI literacy, digital wellbeing, and so on).

The position also requires developing and implementing a long-term communication strategy for EAVI, supporting the implementation of international events such as the European Festival of Journalism and Media Freedom and the Democracy and Information Festival, and collaborating with EAVI’s project partners and stakeholders.

•           At least one year of professional experience in communications, design, or marketing, which may include internships and volunteering activities;

•           Proven experience in visual content creation and video editing, website content management systems (CMS), AI tools, and graphic design applications;

•           Excellent spoken and written English;

•           A solution-oriented, practical, and proactive mindset with creative skills;

•           Having completed your studies and currently residing in Belgium with a valid residence and work permit.

It would be an advantage to have

•           A master’s degree in graphic design, communications, media studies, or a related field;

•           Previous experience in a CSO/NGO environment or an EU institution in a similar role, preferably working on media-related topics relevant to EAVI’s activities;

•           A tech-savvy approach and knowledge to better perform your activities using AI tools mindfully.
