European Investment Bank, Trainee - Digitalization and Process Automation (Equity Eligibility)

• Support workflow automation and process improvement for eligibility reviews by designing and implementing data‑driven controls, including the automation of control testing workflows using analytics and visualisation tools such as Alteryx (preferred), Tableau, Power BI and Excel Power Query.
• Perform analytical eligibility and data quality checks on new equity investees, leveraging external data sources and strong problem‑solving skills to support automated assessments to improve the efficiency and consistency of eligibility reviews.

• University degree (or ongoing studies) in AI, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Data Science, Finance, Economics or another relevant discipline. Candidates may be enrolled in the final year of a Master’s degree. 
• Background in digital transformation and process optimisation, gained through academic projects or practical experience, with exposure to automation, analytics.
• Practical technical skills in data analysis and automation tools, including Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI and/or Excel Power Query, combined with solid working knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, SharePoint, Teams, PowerPoint) to support automated workflows and process improvements.
• Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English. Good command of another EU language would be an advantage.
