This internship will primarily focus on event planning for the Paris Voices for Justice Annual Dinner. The Voices for Justice Annual Dinner is a fundraising event held in 23 cities worldwide that gathers supporters to celebrate important human rights achievements. Under close supervision of Development staff, interns will gain skills in event planning and organizing fundraising events in a non-profit context. Interns may learn and contribute to producing print materials, communicating with guests and suppliers, using and updating databases, liaising with volunteers, and other assignments as the opportunity arises. Interns may also gain exposure to organizing smaller private or public events and drafting donor profiles and communication documents.
Applicants must be currently enrolled students for the duration of the internship term. Applicants should be well-organized, self-motivated, and reliable with strong interests in fundraising and event planning. Teamwork and organizational skills are highly desirable. Excellent written and oral command of French is essential, English would be a plus.
