The aim of this internship project announcement is to establish a list of successful candidates for various teams within Europol’s Capabilities Directorate:
• HR Learning & Development team (C23)
• Procurement & Contract (C25)
• Budget Planning & Reporting team (C26)
• Financial administration team (C27)
• Facilities team (C29)

Leadership and Management Development (LMD) programme & Performance Management (C23) (Q1& Q3)
This internship focuses on support to HR Learning and Development team in the area of performance management, as well as providing support for the implementation of the LMD Programme and implementation of Young Professionals Programme Pilot.


Procurement & Contracts project (C25) (Q1 or Q2)
The focus of this internship is to assist the Contracts team with the establishment and maintenance of a database for legal commitments and with contract and suppliers management tasks related to consultancy, hardware and software acquisition.


Budget Planning & Reporting set up processes (C26) (Q1 or Q2)  
This internship gives the opportunity to learn first-hand about the budget planning and reporting in the public sector organisation, with the specific focus to the implementation of three Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): commitment, payment and carryover.


Financial Transition Project (C27) (Q2)
The focus of this internship is to assist the Initiation Office in the daily activities related to the financial administration of payments and budgetary commitments workflow.


Support to the implementation of the Eco-Management Audit Scheme (EMAS) Project (C29) (Q2)
This internship focuses on the Implementation of EMAS at Europol based on ISO 14001:2015 and EMAS standards, reviewing and maintaining related documentation and processes under the scope of Environmental Management System (EMS).

Requisiti principali:
  • Completed or ongoing studies in a subject of relevance to one of the internship projects, such as Business Administration, Human Resources Management, Project Management, International Relations or other;

  • Good knowledge of the EU decision-making process;

  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing;

  • Proficient user of IT applications in general and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and the internet.
