Attività:
  • Updating and maintaining the media contacts database;
  • Conducting media monitoring;
  • Co-ordinating input and production of the bi-monthly OSCE Communications Visibility Report;
  • Assisting with publishing items on the OSCE website and on social media platforms;
  • Assisting with the preparation, co-ordination and holding of press conferences and other media events;
  • Assisting with the OSCE’s Visitors’ groups programme;
  • Assisting in the research/production of the OSCE online Magazine;
  • Translating short communications-related texts from/into English/Russian;
  • Assisting with audio/video activities, such as taking pictures or helping to record videos;
  • Assisting with the production of graphics and infographics;
  • Performing other communications duties as assigned.
Requisiti principali:
  • Students in the final year of higher education (university or other accredited institution) at graduate or postgraduate level, i.e. within two years of graduation, or recent graduates or postgraduates, with a background in media studies, journalism, political science, international relations or a related field;
  • Professional fluency in English, with superior oral and drafting skills; excellent knowledge of Russian would be a strong asset;
  • Experience with Social Media, multimedia projects, film and/or TV production, photography or a related field is a strong asset;
  • Strong analytical, research and communication skills;
  • An understanding of how to work with multiple audiences, and create and maintain networks of interest;
  • Ability to initiate ideas and to bring them to fruition as part of a team effort;
  • Some work experience/previous internships in an international or regional environment is desirable;
  • Excellent IT knowledge, including familiarity with Microsoft Office and Internet applications; familiarity with the Adobe Suite is an asset;
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with people from different national and cultural backgrounds, whilst maintaining impartiality and objectivity.
