- Contribute to projects that promote harmonisation, integration and innovation in European financial markets, and assess the efficiency, interconnectedness and systemic risk of financial market infrastructures;
- ensure that payment systems, instruments, schemes and arrangements, as well as securities settlement systems, comply with regulatory standards;
- assist with regulatory initiatives in payments and securities;
- support the overall Eurosystem cyber resilience strategy for financial market infrastructures as well as initiatives and tools under the Euro Cyber Resilience Board for pan-European Financial Infrastructures;
- organise internal and external events related to market infrastructures and payments;
- contribute to briefings, memos, papers and reports on analytical projects and policy topics;
- prepare presentations for relevant European working groups and committees, ECB decision-making bodies and market stakeholders;
- support the collection, management and sharing of information, exploring new approaches and proposing creative ways to address technical questions.
We are recruiting several trainees who will be working in different teams. All positions offer excellent opportunities to learn about financial market infrastructures and retail payments and to contribute to the Eurosystem’s efforts in this field. Depending on the Division and team to which you are allocated, you will primarily contribute to:
- promoting innovation and market integration in (i) securities and collateral market infrastructures or (ii) retail payments;
- ensuring the safety and efficiency of (i) payment systems; (ii) payment instruments, schemes and arrangements; or (iii) securities settlement systems;
- promoting the cyber resilience of financial market infrastructures.
In this position you will be responsible for developing validation content to ensure the quality of new Intel silicon products. You will be part of a dynamic team that provides firmware components, enabling crucial technologies for various Intel data center products.
Key responsibilities:
- Define test specifications based on product-related documentation.
- Develop automated test cases to validate firmware functionality.
- Improve and maintain validation frameworks.
- Research and explore the usage of generative AI in validation processes.
- Become familiar with and participate in the full general administrative functions that support the Office Management Team.
- Train with the Office Management Team and help deliver an effective onboarding experience to new employees.
- Ensure a high-quality service when welcoming visitors, answering phone calls and organizing meetings.
- Support a positive workplace experience in our Brussels office and assist with employee events.
- Learn how to have a proactive approach to office management, inventory management and supply orders.
- Assist with employee travel and hotel booking.
- Complete various administrative tasks (word-processing, reporting, filing and scanning of documents, PowerPoint presentation, etc.) as needed.
- Serve as the timely liaison between employees and our external IT provider.
Within Mother & Childcare Care (MCC), the objective of this internship is to explore potential automation opportunities using software (SW), such as data validation, machine learning or AI, for the improvement of current labeling/artwork verification process. This will involve leveraging existing inputs like labeling requirements, regulatory requirements, existing and new labeling/artwork, and information stored in word documents, PDFs, and databases.
- Verification process automation utilizing SW; data validation, machine learning, AI or similar techniques.
- Utilizing the available inputs from databases and formal documents to automate processes.
- Based on identified base line, propose future directions for next steps of process automation.
