This internship project will focus on supporting the implementation of the Travel Risk Management Process leaded by the Security Intelligence and Travel Security Office within Security and Services Team. The intern will assist the team by:

• Creating a list of accommodations in non-EU countries visited by Europol staff;
• Gathering feedback from staff members regarding security challenges faced and/or observed during last trips;
• Contributing to the travel risk management process;
• Contributing to updating security briefings;
• Monitoring and identifying relevant topics on social media;
• Providing assistance in processing and assessing frantic communication to identify threats towards the organisation;
• Any other related activities under the supervision of the internship supervisor.

This project is pivotal in driving Roche’s scope 3 reporting, supplier engagement, and decarbonisation. By increasing alignment of purchased products with activity-based emissions factors (e.g., leveraging the ecoinvent database), you will play a key role in our continuous improvement efforts to refine the company’s carbon footprint. Leveraging increasingly accurate and relevant emissions factors is a fundamental part of our GHG data journey, as Roche works to meet and exceed its Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) commitments.

As a Sustainable Product Analyst Intern, you will perform and delve into extensive research to align Roche’s purchased products with the most relevant activity-based emissions factors, leveraging databases such as ecoinvent. This task involves a deep dive into lifecycle assessments and carbon footprint data, using bill of materials, material quantities, and product specifications to find the best correlations within the Ecoinvent database to support Roche’s sustainability goals. You will contribute to developing streamlined, technology-based solutions for managing this data, working with our pilot tech partner, ensuring data is accurate, easily accessible, and able to be modelled and reported.

Conformité

• Développer, mettre en œuvre et maintenir des politiques et des procédures de conformité pour l'entreprise

• Coordonner et/ou effectuer des contrôles réguliers pour évaluer l'efficacité des programmes de conformité et proposer des plans d'actions
• Piloter la veille réglementaire
• Participer à l’animation du réseau des correspondants au sein des entités du Groupe

Management des Risques

• Alimenter les cartographies des risques en lien étroit avec le réseau de collaborateurs référents sur la gestion des risques et de la conformité
• Etablir et suivre les plans d'actions à partir des résultats des cartographies des risques

D’autres missions pourront être confiées en fonction de son potentiel (prise d’initiatives, aptitude au reporting, autonomie etc.) et des besoins de la Direction Conformité Groupe.

You will take on responsible tasks, e.g:

• Supervision of experimental setups, validation and evaluation of experiments
• Development of technical concepts
• Development and testing of functional assemblies/prototypes
• Analysis and optimization of existing technical solutions

You will get to know various devices for thermal analysis and rheology and gain insights into different material classes

• Ensure that reports comply with pre-specified accounting and legal requirements.
