The intern will support the Director's office of the Joint FAO/IAEA Centre of Nuclear Techniques in Food and Agriculture in the areas of human resources, programming and implementation of budget, resource mobilization and partnership building. The intern will work under the supervision of the Administrative Associate of the Joint Centre.

Functions / Key Results Expected

• Support the Director's office in managing financial resources by keeping track of financial budgets, forecast and implementation of funds
• Compilation of budget proposals, compiling and formatting documents and databases, including proposals for resource mobilization, donorship and partnership agreements
• Support the Director's office in managing human resources by organising interviews and other tasks as required
• Perform other duties are required.

Support on daily basis European Sales Director and Head of Markets Sales Management in the Sales Operations coordination through 3 mains areas:

Sales Strategy

• Contribute to planification of Sales calendar based on product events and sales seasonality
• Sustain and improve communication flow to internal functions and regional clusters
• Support creation of business cases and volume plans per market.

Field Forces Coordination

• Organise regular meetings with Regional Field Forces
• Manage minutes, actions and tasks list for stakeholders and related follow-up
• Support management in writing bulletins and guides for retail network.

Reporting

• Update and analyse regular performance reports in order to prepare the regular business reviews
• Coordinate Variable Bonus Margin allocation to dealers on monthly basis
• Track Variable Margin Expenses on monthly basis.

You will participate to the deployment of the Scope 3 climate strategy as part of the S&R “Circular Making” roadmap defined for 2030, under the responsibility of the Head of Climate. Your key missions:

• You will support the "Carbon Value Chain" team in the analysis and improvement of the methodology for calculating the scope 3 carbon footprint (non-FLAG and FLAG).
• You will contribute to the integration and modeling of CO2 initiatives deployed at the group level.
• You will support the implementation and monitoring of subsidiary CO2 action plans to achieve the 2030 CO2 ambition.
• You will support other related projects: guidelines, external collaboration, legislation and standards, benchmarks, ...
• You will contribute to the annual Extra-Financial reporting exercise on the Climate part.

This internship project focuses on developing and using Python scripts for automated data processing of multimedia formats (text, image, audio), as well scripts for data annotation, data augmentation or synthetic data creation in those formats. The intern will support the team by:

• Assisting with the development of data augmentation techniques;
• Supporting with the development of scripts for automated creation of synthetic data;
• Assisting with the development of scripts for data annotation;
• Reviewing and researching academic literature about these topics;
• Assisting/supporting in building custom machine learning models;
• Other related tasks identified by the supervisor.
