- Participation in the software integration process (including research, design, coding, testing, etc.) of computer application systems using established standards, programming languages, methods and tools, like: .NET Core/.NET 5, C#, Visual Studio, Angular, Elasticsearch, MariaDB, Scrum, Agile, Azure DevOps, Azure Cloud, etc.
- Assistance in creating graphical representations of data, like interactive network diagrams, charts and dashboards, applying best practices of data visualization and graphic design theories, using open source and free-to-use tools and libraries.
- Help maintaining tests and functional specifications for computer application systems, programs and procedures developed and/or modified.
- Participation in training activities, including the preparation of training materials and technical and user documentation, and compilation of relevant information Assistance in developing documentation and material and publishing them to websites Interacting with other teams responsible for technology innovation

The internship will be undertaken either remotely outside the duty station or in a hybrid working arrangement at the UN Premise, Vienna, Austria.
Support the analytical work of WFP Brussels through collection of data and by following and debriefing on various EU events.
Under the supervision of the Team Lead, update, maintain and expand the stakeholder mapping document, which includes key contacts from the European Parliament, Council of the European Union, other EU institutions as well as Member States' line ministries responsible for foreign affairs, development assistance and humanitarian assistance.
In liaison with the rest of the Team an, the Intern will support the organisation and logistics of WFP external events organised in Brussels, as and when they are scheduled.
The Intern shall support the Team Lead, as well as other team members, in ad hoc duties including, but not limited to – media monitoring of relevant developments, helping in scheduling of meetings, organisation of visits and identifying upcoming events which may be relevant for WFP.
The intern will support the Team on overall media monitoring as needed, and internal communications initiatives in the Brussels Office.
- Assist in the implementation of media relations of the Office, including media monitoring, analysis, reporting, media logs, drafting and deployment of media responses, facilitation of interviews, media accreditation and media briefings;
- Conduct research and draft texts;
- Assist with photography, videography and basic photo and video editing;
- Assist in drafting and deploying social media content;
- Assist in the development and implementation of a variety of public information projects and events;
- Perform other tasks as required.
Under the overall supervision of the HQ Building Project Director and direct supervision of the Archives and Records Specialist the Intern will assist with various records management tasks, including processing accessions, updating databases, monitoring environmental quality controls, facilitating records transfer, and providing administrative support.

- Helping design and assess proof-of-concept initiatives, particularly in areas such as data analytics, intelligent automation, and digital assistants.
- Collaborating with business stakeholders and sector leads to collect requirements, validate concepts, and ensure user-centric solution design.
