The Institute is currently offering one internship position to assist with research projects in the field of EU External Relations Law (research strand ‘Transnational public interests: constituting public interest beyond and below the state’).

The intern will have the opportunity to contribute:

  • To research and publication projects of the researchers of the Global Europe project and of CLEER;
  • To the organisation of events.

 

The position is located in the Trade, Poverty and Inequalities Branch (TPIB) of the Division for Africa, Least Developed Countries and Special Programmes (ALDC). Carrying out his/her tasks under the guidance of the Head of the TPIB, the intern will provide assistance to Economists performing the following functions:  

  • Provide research assistance on poverty and inequality in an African country
  • Assist in identifying and examine governance challenges facing a selected African country and their implications for poverty and inequality
  • Assis in collecting and analyzing economic data from national and international sources
  • Participate in meetings and conferences organized by the branch and provide summaries of discussions.

 

Thanks to your academic background in law and interest in privacy-related matters, you will support the Compliance Legal Competence Center and the PMO for Global Legal Operations. Your tasks will include reviewing Data Processing Agreements, supporting Data Protection Impact Assessments, and assisting with the drafting of data protection clauses within service contracts.

 

You will also contribute to awareness initiatives related to data protection, help strengthen the internal privacy network, and assist in implementing elements of the AI governance framework. Additional responsibilities will include supporting legal operations projects, managing the Ferrero privacy email account, and contributing to coordination efforts for legal meetings, including the drafting of meeting minutes.

  • Define the editorial line of our 3 quarterly newsletters aimed at our B2B distributors: electronics, metal, aerospace (one newsletter per cluster)
  • Create the newsletters, both design and content
  • Develop and deploy training programs, technical trainings, sustainability, etc., exclusively dedicated to our distributors
  • Provide promotional materials for our distributors
  • Support the organization of the annual Distribution event (150 participants)
  • Help with ad hoc tasks and special projects.
  • Support pharmaceutical development studies for liquid and lyophilized parenteral drug products of biologics (e.g. monoclonal antibodies)
  • Prepare compounding solutions and mobile phases, perform analytical tests to evaluate physicochemical properties of the drug product (e.g. content by UV, color, clarity and opalescence, pH, osmolality, visible particles, subvisible particles)
  • Prepare systems and samples for HPLC and capillary-based purity methods
  • Rheological characterization using a cone-plate rheometer
  • Document data in accordance with applicable laboratory procedures, current documentation practices and data integrity standards.
