The HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current) market is experiencing substantial growth and has become integral to many transmission networks. This technology facilitates the connection of remote electrical power sources, including emissions-free renewable sources such as hydroelectric or wind generation, to load centers that are hundreds or even thousands of kilometers away from the power source. The Semiconductor Packaging and Reliability Engineering research team at the Central European Hitachi Energy Research Center is looking for an intern with reliability engineering experience to contribute to our reliability models initiatives.
