  • Developing vehicles and making concept proposals for European core models

Your project

  • Development of coated corrosion-resistant coated steel part
  • Benchmark key pre-treatment, finishing and corrosion-protection methods used in Automotive and transport sectors available within Europe
  • Develop a proposal(s) on structural and/or functional components without compromising strength, weight nor anti-corrosion performance
  • Collaborate with TME Purchasing to confirm cost impact for your proposal(s)
  • Validate your proposal(s) using laboratory test methods.
  • Support maintenance and enhancement of our Pricing Approval Process and Tool used across EMEA
  • Ensure approval process execution by providing user support and coordinating ticket management and resolution
  • Setup and train users in pricing processes and solutions across the organization
  • Analytical support to senior pricing team members
  • Support on infrastructure projects such as development and enhancement of new and existing approval, transactional and monitoring pricing tools
  • Support in establish collaborative relationship with business partners and divisions with the development of pricing analysis and sharing best practices across the organization
  • Support pricing reporting and monitoring strategy by developing and running pricing analytics in excel and other business intelligence solutions.

 

L’usure est un phénomène tribologique pouvant influencer les performances vibro-acoustiques des freins. En effet, l’usure a un grand impact sur la répartition des efforts dans un contact rotor/stator ce qui peut affecter la dynamique du système.

Afin d’intégrer ce phénomène dans les processus de simulation, un modèle d’usure a été développé par notre équipe de simulation. Cependant, ce modèle doit être nourri par des paramètres physiques pour corréler avec la réalité physique. Ainsi, il est nécessaire de mener une campagne de mesure des paramètres d’usure qui seront par la suite intégrés dans le modèle de simulation.

 

Les principales tâches à réaliser seront :

  • Prendre en main les outils de simulation et de l’expérimentation, nécessaires à la réalisation du stage,
  • Se familiariser avec le modèle de calcul d’usure,
  • Réaliser des essais d’usure sur le banc tribologique dans différentes conditions de température,
  • Mesure des surfaces après essais pour estimer l’usure,
  • Analyse des mesures et calcul des paramètres d’usure,
  • Réaliser des simulations d’usure et corrélation avec les tests.
  • Support dashboard creation to support day to day work of R&D functions 
  • Support digital transformation across the R&D team (e.g. communication about changes- identification of digital tools required by R&D team) 
  • Investigate new tools and trends in Digital world 
  • Participate & contribute into meetings related to Digital strategy

Vous devrez pour toutes les étapes de la production des différentes DS, analyser les produits déchargés dans les déchets liquides, coordonner avec la station d’épuration du site de Vevey, des tests de traitement d’IBC des déchets liquides, en se rendant potentiellement sur place pour comprendre les problématiques de traitement des eaux usées, participer aux discussions avec l’EHS sur la revue des pratiques de déversements (déchets ou eaux usées) ainsi que consolider et présenter les résultats.

The intern will support the EMP/ANALYSIS unit. Depending on the period engaged, s/he will carry out research in targeted areas within the scope of macroeconomics, labour market and social issues and policies and contribute to the unit’s production of internal briefs, external reports and publications.

As an ILO intern in RESA, you will be exposed to a whole range of areas such as
production of briefs, reports, blogs and webinars on aspects of labour market impacts/linkages to employment policies and economic policies; preparing labour market diagnostics; identifying and sharing good practices in gender-responsive macroeconomic and sectoral policy frameworks; provision of technical assistance to countries in areas of evidence-supported employment policy design and implementation; and production of the ILO major publication, the Global Employment Trends for Youth.

You would be gaining experience in working with specialists who are involved in the following tasks:

  • Compile national and regional economic and labour market statistics from official national and international sources;
  • Undertake background research on various economic and decent work-related topics, for example inequality, productivity and wages, migration, informality, and employment and social trends;
  • Draft studies or sections of studies as contribution to the production of ILO reports and publications, including on issues relating to future of work and the human-centred recovery;
  • Contribute to the preparation and planning of ILO meetings and workshops involving tripartite constituents;
  • Support other related work of RESA as needed.
  • Interns should expect to devote 10% to 20% of their time to administrative tasks.
