The purpose of internship is to help ICT (Information and Communications Technology) team in day- to-day activities and mostly focused on end user support, both physical and remotely. Monitoring systems closely and proactively helping users is a key factor in effectiveness of ICT Operations. Deliverables:

  • Effective customer support & training
  • Maintenance of photocopy machines, audio/video conference equipment
  • Image of UNICEF laptops and troubleshooting of accessories
  • Maintenance of telecom equipment such as radio handhelds, SatPhones, BGAN.
  • Collect, organize, and analyze data related to sales performance across key business KPIs, as well as prepare monthly and quarterly reports and presentations to communicate key findings and insights to management.
  • Assist in the identification and evaluation of new business opportunities for company`s short and long term strategies & plans, supporting the development and approval of incremental business plans.
  • Collaborate with diverse internal stakeholders (i.e Product and Marketing teams) to help analyze business performance across metrics and derive integrated insights on drivers and hampers.
  • Develop an understanding of business practices in different regions to effectively navigate global business environments and foster positive relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Lead and develop ad-hoc projects (i.e improving operational efficiency, streamlining processes, identifying & implementing a best practice in a business unit or area of the business, etc).
  • Review and modify existing data handling programs for fan testing.
  • Assist in calculating and estimating Airflow (AF) based on test parameters.
  • Collaborate with the test engineering team on assigned tasks related to fan testing.
  • Gain exposure to different product types, familiarize yourself with tools, and actively support test engineers in various projects.

We are looking for an intern who would like to write a master's thesis with us following their internship. Topics that you could work on during your internship with a following master's thesis include:

Your Opportunities:

  • Support in providing legal advice on staff grievances of limited scope and, where appropriate, advising on means to informally resolve such cases
  • Conduct research on the jurisprudence of the International Labour Organization Administrative Tribunal (ILOAT) on assigned topics and provide detailed analysis of cases and jurisprudence.
  • Assist in the preparation of drafts or sections of the Administration's response to Requests for Review and submissions for staff appeals to the Joint Administrative Review Board (JARB) and the ILOAT.
  • Review contracts and agreements with a LEGGL component, necessary for the development and implementation of IOM projects.
  • Assist in advising individual IOM offices on privileges and immunities, particularly concerning complaints brought by IOM staff members under local labour law systems and attempts by local authorities to detain or subpoena staff members.
  • Assist in providing general legal advice as necessary on issues of limited scope relating to the functions, structure, activities, and legal status of IOM.
  • Follow meetings and international conferences relevant to LEGGL Division, Office of Legal Affairs.
  • Undertake any other tasks as requested by the Division Head, LEGGL. 

 

The intern is expected to support and improve programme documentation as well as knowledge management related to access of children to formal education and provision of skills development programmes to the children in upper-secondary level of formal education. The intern will:

  • Support for the initial review of progress reports
  • Support events/meetings/workshops logistics by pursuing tasks related to participants, venue checks etc.
  • Collate event/workshop reports and share with relevant officer.
  • Check dashboard data of relevant programmes and verify the entries.
  • Support translation between English and Turkish and vice versa of key programme related documents.
  • Take notes (English and/or Turkish) during the meetings, when needed.

Au sein de notre département électrique, vous aurez pour principale mission la collecte des différentes données fournies par les opérationnels ou à travers les outils de pilotage actuels. Ceci pour établir une base de données permettant de faire différentes simulations. A partir de cette base nous pourrons présenter plusieurs scénarios et comparer avec le mode actuel. Plus précisément, vous serez amené à :

• Examiner la cohérence des données
• Analyser les datas venant de différents projets (multiprojets dans le ferroviaire)

  • Support the hiring of interns at IOM Headquarters, including recruitment, selection, onboarding, visa processing and separation.
  • Provide support in the hiring of loaned personnel sponsored by the Swiss government through the Emploi Lausanne Office (SYNI programme), by coordinating the liaison with host IOM Divisions, recruitment and onboarding of participants.
  • Help update and maintain the files and databases of the Internship programme and support the improvement of procedures and filing.
  • Create and update collaboration sites for the Alternate Staffing portfolio, ensuring easy access and organization of relevant information and documents.
  • Assist in preparing and designing factsheets, presentations, and other materials for events or meetings, as well as taking notes and writing summaries of the key points and action items.
