  • Provide an active input to the EU Delegation's tasks of representation and EU coordination in the area of humanitarian affairs, refugees and/or migration;
  • Contribute to the interaction between national diplomatic and administrative system(s) and the EU in the context of EU coordination with EU Member States and in particular close cooperation within EU Team (EU Delegation + EU Council presidency);
  • Take part to meetings and ensure timely and quality reporting. When needed draft notes/briefings on humanitarian affairs, refugees and/or migration or on issues of a more general nature;

1. Learn by supporting Partnership, Advocacy and Resource Mobilization Strategies with Member States:

  • Under the supervision of the Senior Advisor, contribute to the partnership, advocacy, and resource mobilization strategies for assigned Member States.
  • Maintain up-to-date information on partner and income trends, analyze development assistance policies and keep resource partner profiles updated.
  • Support implementation of engagement plans and activities with the objectives of
    • (1) increasing core and quality resources;
    • (2) identifying possible sources of new and continued funding; and
    • (3) advocating for child rights with selected partner countries.

 

2. Learn by supporting the Senior Advisor and other senior management for their strategic engagement with government partners and international forums:

  • Assist with the organization of partner consultations and other convenings with assigned partners.
  • Support with preparing briefing notes and any other documentation required by Senior Management for visits to and from assigned partners.
  • Participate in and summarize results from internal and external meetings with assigned resource partners.
  • Assist the Senior Advisor in managing day-to-day contacts with partners.

 

3. Assist the Public Partnerships Division and UNICEF at large in partner engagement at multilateral fora.


4. Learn by supporting the Senior Advisor and the broader Germany Team, as required, in providing guidance and support to UNICEF Field Offices on various partnerships matters, including contribution management and donor recognition.

  • Prepare background notes, analytical reports, summary of documents of relevant UN and EU meetings, events, seminars etc.
  • Provide administrative support to the ILO Team.
  • Support the team in drafting reports, organising meetings, researching and analysing specific policy topics, analysing policy on topical issues relating to the EU/ILO.
  • Liaise and communicate with EU member States as part of the Governing Body preparations, the International Labour Conference and general EU coordination issues.
  • Assist the Head of Section and section-colleagues in covering EU-activities in ILO.
  • Attend meetings and events organised at the United Nations, EU Delegation, EU Member States, UN Agencies, NGOs, academia or think-tanks.

We look for a student supporting the development of a novel wafer test vehicle to investigate the impact of process tuning knobs and hardware features on the wafer surface cleaning efficiency to address challenges of wet cleans of advanced logic applications.

The tasks include:

  • Literature search and market screening of project-relevant wet processes
  • Wet process feasibility studies of test chemistries in beaker level
  • Application of analytical techniques for wafer surface characterization
  • Full-wafer level performance verification.

 

You will contribute to developing a web service UI to interface with the RTMA metadata analyser and suggest and implement a REST interface for M2M interfacing with the analyser measurement data.

 

Your Responsibilities

  • Work together with the MDS-GOE team to understand the DVB RTMA (Real Time Metadata Analyser) capabilities and functionality and its architecture.
  • Program a web UI to interface with the analyser on most used functions.
  • Suggest and program a M2M REST interface for north-bound communication with the SES data landscape.
  • Collaborate with the PAT team to apply spectroscopic methods for on-line/in-line/at-line analysis, monitoring and optimization of chemical processes.
  • Utilize data science techniques to analyze and interpret spectroscopic data, integrating findings with process data for comprehensive insights.
  • Develop and implement algorithms and models for process prediction and optimization.
  • Participate in the design and execution of experiments to test models and algorithms performance, ensuring their applicability in industrial settings.
  • Engage in cross-functional projects, contributing to the development and optimization of PAT applications for enhanced process understanding.
