In this role, you will be involved in developing various tools aimed at accelerating and automating the simulation process across pre-processing, processing, and post-processing stages. You will work on projects aimed at enhancing our simulation methods and technologies, which may involve comprehensive literature reviews, comparison of virtual and physical tests, or validation of tools.

In addition, you will have the opportunity to coordinate and plan the research components. Research findings and progress should be reported and aligned to the team. Further details and steps can be determined/modified based on your interests and the alignment with the possibilities and necessities of the team at the time you start.

  • Monitoring: Daily monitoring of Referenced financial applications (SAP ERP, Kyriba, SAP FC, eExpenses, …) based on manual and/or automated (Power Automate) actions
  • Reporting: Preparation, sending & follow up of various reports on the department activities for internal and external customers 
  • Support: Worldwide end-user support via the IT Service Management software ServiceNow, phone or email
  • User account management: Creation, modification and de-activation of user accounts required to access our referenced applications (SAP, SAP FC, Visual Scope, City Financials, Kyriba, eExpenses, eSelfbilling, Cashnet, DocuSign, Sigma Conso, it.capture, ...) also including middleware applications such as MS Azure, OKTA, ... 
  • Work closely with Senior Language Quality Analyst in the Community Optimization team
  • Analyze the causes of quality concerns and complaints to determine the possible root cause and suggest scalable and efficient solutions to address them.
  • Support the Community Optimization team with researching various topics within the translation and localisation industry when requested.
  • Support Senior Language Quality Analyst with creating reports and proposals to further improve quality of translations in the future.
  • Reviewing and improving reference materials used by our communities to provide high- quality linguistic work
  • Report into Head of Community Optimization.
  • Creatively prospect potential partners suitable for the business products and resources appropriate to company commercial goals
  • Effectively manage these partners on a day to day basis with the assistance, guidance and support of the local sales team and Studio France head

Our back office and logistics teams, composed of 15 people, is integrated in the supply chain department of Peroxides and focus on ensuring on time deliveries to the customers in collaboration with the front office. As an intern in supply chain operations , you will support the back office and logistics teams. You will be accountable for:

  • Ensure proper execution of customers orders in order to satisfy their demand.
  • Facilitate communication and exchange of information between customers, plants, regarding orders, end user certificates and complaints
  • Follow up of logistics extra-costs and non conformity
  • Follow up the correct execution of the logistic operations within the region and act proactively to avoid deviances.
  • Support of all tasks related to the acquisition of fictional content for our TV channels (Warner TV Film, Warner TV Comedy, Warner TV Series, TELE 5)
  • Support of all tasks related to the dubbing (lipsynch & voice over) of the factual content broadcasted on DMAX, TLC, HGTV, Animal Planet, Discovery Channel and Discovery + and of the fictional content for our fiction channels
  • After a period of training the Trainee is expected to perform basic tasks in evaluating content for the fiction channels and editing scripts (German translations)
  • We will balance the Trainee’s tasks between “basic support”, “helping hand in everyday firefighting” and “dedicated learning sessions” depending on individual interests and needs

Communication Interne

  • Support apporté à la Chargée de Communication Interne dans l’élaboration du planning des news internes de Canon, à la rédaction des articles et à leur mise en ligne sur un outil dédié.
  • Support apporté aux différentes actions en communication internes (annonces, newsletters, événements…)
  • Mise en ligne de documents sur le SharePoint Communication et mise à jour de ce SharePoint.

Charte Graphique

  • Contrôle de la charte graphique sur les diverses créations visuelles de l’entreprise
  • Créations de documents respectant cette charte (invitations, …).

 

Under the direct supervision of the Legal Officer of the Contracts and Legal Affairs team, the intern will assist the Legal Officer in the following areas: 

  • Legal research and analysis, including preparing legal opinions, studies, briefs, reports, and correspondence 

  • Use and misuse of WHO’s emblem and name in relation to WHO’s involvement in meetings and other activities  

  • Preliminary review of standard legal documents, including a variety of commercial and IT contracts  

  • Update and maintenance of the team page on WHO intranet 

  • Perform any other related duties as assigned by the Legal Officer to the intern 

Within this internship, the intern will:

Under the overall supervision of the Head of Financial Reporting and Payments Services, and/or in coordination with the responsible Officer, to:

  • Perform financial data analysis and historical multi-year trend comparisons and prepare reports on key performance indicators;
  • Assist in the drafting of reports and meeting minutes and preparing materials for presentations as needed;
  • Analyze payables in e-invoices system Basware and assist in inquiries and recordkeeping of vendor invoices, travel claims and other payment requests;
  • Assist in reviewing the payment documents to ensure compliance with the Financial Regulations and Rules and administrative directives, and check against purchase orders and other commitment documents to ensure consistency and accuracy;
  • Provide assistance in month end reconciliation procedures;
  • Participate in activities related to the e-invoices system upgrade and enhancements such as user testing;
  • Undertake other duties as assigned.

 

Global events participation

 

A- Support events-related planning:

  • Identify and research specific events.
  • Keep calendar and event tracker updated
  • Support events related coordination in planning activities around main dates and events to anticipate for delegations registration and side event applications and proactively reach out when needed;
  • Help develop and maintain tools related to global events
  • Support Coordination and logistics support in the run-up and post-event
  • International days: draft and coordinate submission for internal comms

B- Support sharing information sharing related to global events:

  • Identify and share information on events (timelines, application processes, etc)
  • Support regular communications and calls related to global events
  • Develop key documents needed to facilitate participation
  • Respond to global programmes requests and needs related to global events
  • Follow up on key processes (such as registration of delegations, side event applications etc)
  • Logistics: support on events logistics as needed for events and visits

C- Support events knowledge management and communication

  • Develop internal tools, guidance and materials as needed
  • Facilitate visibility of UNOPS Geneva and of specific global programmes on corporate social media accounts, website and intranet
  • Undertakes research and provides reference materials for preparation of briefs, notes and statements

Broader partnership and communications support:

  • Provide ad hoc partnership and communications support as needed.

 

This internship project is allocated to Protocol function within the Corporate Communications Team and will focus on protocol, providing support to high-level visits and other protocol matters and event management. The intern will support the team by:

  • Providing support in the preparation of high-level visits and events from protocol as well as organisational perspective;
  • Assisting during the execution of visits;
  • Supporting the Protocol function in every-day administration linked to the organisation of the high-level visits and event management;
  • Drafting processes related to the implementation of the protocol;
  • Maintaining overviews and logs;
  • Carrying out desktop market research for protocol items (provide its analysis and support the procurement process);
  • Any other activities requested by the internship supervisor.

Eligibility criteria:

  • Be a national of a Member State of the European Union;
  • Have a level of education which corresponds to completed university studies or vocational training relevant for the tasks of Europol. Only diplomas issued by EU Member State authorities and diplomas recognised as equivalent by the relevant EU Member State bodies are accepted. If the main studies took place outside the European Union or at a non-EU establishment located within the European Union the candidate’s qualification (hereinafter “non-EU diploma”), must have been recognised by a body delegated officially for the purpose by one of the European Union Member States (such as a national Ministry of Education);
  • Have very good knowledge of English, which is Europol’s main language of internal communication, and a satisfactory knowledge (corresponding at least to B1 level of the Common European framework of reference for the level of languages) of another language of the European Union.

 

Legal Support (70% of the time)

  • Legal support in the field and at headquarters:
    • Redaction of commercial contracts and agreements, and review before signature; which may include international contracts involving multiple MSF entities;
    • Reviewing MoU projects and assisting to the revision of MoU Framework;
    • Support missions in the management of legal files (prelitigation/litigation files in the field tax, customs, administrative, commercial);
    • Archiving files in the legal database.
  • Research and drafting of notes:
    • Various legal research under different legislations and drafting of legal memos and guidelines;
    • Thematic research on the contexts of intervention;
    • Drafting of memos and matter files on a particular legal issue, with a view to tracing the history of the issue and presenting the major risks and possible recommendations to the operational team;
    • Definition of legal arrangements in different fields and under different legal systems (opening of missions / projects and closing, authorisations of medical practice by nationals and foreigners / taxation of foreign legal entities and individuals).

Administrative Support and Organization of the Department (20% of the time)

  • Coordination with assistants in the operations department and other departments (briefing, follow-up of MOUs signed in the field, etc.)
  • Organization of meetings (agenda, logistic, minutes and follow up on action points)
  • Management of the Unit 4 tools and database:
    • Collecting, filing and updating documents and legal tools;
    • Dissemination of tools created by the Legal Department;
    • Update of monitoring tools (SHIELD, country table, matter files)

Legal Dossiers (10% of the time)

  • Depending on academic requirements, the Intern, during the period of internship (from 6 months to 12 months) might be expected to work on a specific Legal Dossier.
  • The dossier selected should combine (a) the legal needs of the Department, (b) academic requirements such as the need to complete a thesis and (c) if possible, a link to the future career of the Intern.
  • The final deliverable will be presented to the Legal Department at the end of the period of employment.
  • Collaborate with our creative team to brainstorm, organize and execute stunning contents that aligns with our brand's vision.
  • Contribute to create and maintain visuals, audio and video contents related to marketing campaigns stories, to support cross-department needs.
  • Assist in production and management of various marketing materials, related to cross channels executions, and more.
  • Support project management activities, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of creative elements into projects.
  • Contribute fresh ideas during brainstorming sessions and provide creative insights to enhance our projects.
  • You will contribute to building a creative culture within the team, taking part in social activities, inspirational sessions when we review great external work, cross-department brainstorming sessions (retail, WHS, digital, social, brand needs).
