Attività:
  • Perform state-of-the-art review in the field of model predictive control for networked power converters.
  • Support the technology development and research activities with focus on emerging Low-Frequency AC power transmission applications.
  • Develop simulation prototypes to assess the steady-state/transient performance, related computational effort, and adaptation against model uncertainty of the proposed strategies. Benchmark the prototypes with state-of-the-art solutions.
  • Propose creative and efficient solutions to de-risk the implementation of the approach in future product releases.
  • Disseminate knowledge including presentation of results, writing technical reports, and contribution to scientific paper.
Requisiti principali:
  • Currently pursuing a MSc degree in Control and Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field – official enrollment is essential.
  • Background in at least one of the following: modelling and control for power converters, modern control theories, and/or applied optimization.
  • Domain knowledge on power converters and power electronics is a plus.
  • Experience in MATLAB / Simulink programming is required.
  • Experience that demonstrates your team-oriented working style.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
