The aim of this internship project announcement is to establish a list of successful candidates for the Innovation Lab team of the Information Management Unit, Capabilities Directorate at Europol.

This internship project focuses on supporting activities of the Innovation Lab. The intern will contribute to the development of technical solutions through active collaboration with technical specialists in the team whereby the intern will support the team by:

  • Identifying, reproducing, and fixing software bugs;
  • Writing and running test cases to ensure tools function as expected across different scenarios.
  • Assisting creating small prototypes to assess their feasibility for integration into the main project.
  • Supporting writing or updating user manuals, API documentation, and internal guides;
  • Implementing minor feature requests or enhancements;
  • Supporting the code review process by reviewing peers' code changes, providing feedback, and ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices;
  • Investigating new libraries, tools, or frameworks relevant to the software;
  • Performing other related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

 

Key tasks will include assisting our team with documentation and case work, preparing communications to file with international protection mechanisms, contributing to the drafting of reports and legal briefs, and supporting other type of advocacy and communication actions undertaken by MENA Rights Group.

Processing is responsible for developing and manufacturing production equipment needed for processing of new LEGO Bricks with speed, effectiveness, and efficiency. This responsibility includes cooperating with Product Design organizations, other Engineering department as well as the global manufacturing sites. The organization is in total around 100 people working in different areas such as mechanical design, automation design and decoration development.

The role as Intern is supporting our ability to realize and produce new element (LEGO Brick) designs, which includes 1) decoration of the element, 2) factory assembly of the element, or 3) special handling of the element, needed for novelty LEGO Models. Furthermore, the role is supporting our ability to continuously offer high service, knowledge, and support towards Production to make sure that the equipment is running with high performance.

  • Use the data and apply scientific findings to design experiments for microbiological challenge studies. (Set scope, planning & design of experiment and apply key scientific knowledge & tests in microbiology)

  • Identification of key searches and organize the deployment of visuals (header & visual inserts).

Commercial periods anticipation

  • Assist the e-merchandising team to prepare future assortment, check stocks and reassortment with Amsterdam planners.
  • Assist into European key commercial messages proposition (per market), including contact details and taking into consideration SEO needs.
  • Assist into preparing retex including what was activated for main markets as well as best sellers and any interesting insights to share with the markets.

AB testing campaign follow Up

  • Competitors Benchmark, brief preparation including mock-ups and KPIs to follow. Organize calls with HQ Digital Operations to ensure AB testing follow up, adapt, and create necessary change request.
  • Prepare tests for main markets regarding next quarterly homepages waves plan and assist to discuss it with HQ.
